Other Ceremonies

Coming of age for a teenager

A ceremony to reaffirm for a young person their place in family life and our society in a positive way. A chance to celebrate and acknowledge the  growing pains and the highs and lows of adolescence.

This is a ceremony to give a voice for a young person to express their evolving personality and growth as they gain a new foothold of understanding emerging into the adult world.

The coming of age ceremony is an opportunity for family members  and friends to acknowledge and help  by contributing promises and support in what can be an exciting and challenging journey.

End of Life Parties

Many people prefer to have a ceremony towards the end of life; being with and having a chance to thank family and friends.

This can replace or compliment a funeral or memorial ceremony after death, with family and friends able to say goodbyes directly.

Divorce affirmations for children & family

Divorce is a hugely difficult time especially when there are  children. Many dedicated parents struggle with a redefined role. The divorce affirmation  ceremony  is often used as an opportunity to set a new base line  and to commit and reassure  children and family members on both sides. Individuals speak  of their ongoing commitment to be part of the lives of children . New frameworks and allowances are acknowledged  with honesty and clarity. These  now different responsibilities are recognised and explained to extended family members.
